Pau S. Pescador: The Butt Wants What It Wants

Through props, costume and text, artist Pau S. Pescador will conduct a performance addressing humor, awkwardness and anxiety of her body shifting through the process of gender hormone replacement therapy, specifically her butt. She will discuss how it has shifted or not shifted her own relationship to intimacy as well as how she wants to be seen and desired.

Pau S. Pescador (born in 1983) is a contemporary trans fem nonbinary artist who works in film, photography, and performance that lives and works in Los Angeles, California. She graduated with an MFA from University of California, Irvine and a BA from University of Southern California.
